Why Mobile?

You may be asking yourself, "why should I use a mobile groomer?" and "Why Paradise Paws?"

There are many advantages to having a mobile groomer come to your home to groom your pet. These include:

1. EVERY groom is an "express" groom. Your pet is never crated. It is the ONLY pet in the salon at that time, meaning that your pet gets the undivided attention of the groomer.  This makes the groom experience much less stressful for your pet.  This is especially good for pets who are easily stressed, have health issues, are very young or are very old.  We specialize in "one on one" grooming, from start to finish.

2.  Convenience! You never have to leave your home to get your pet to the groomer!  You don't need to drive to the groomer twice; once to drop off, and once to pick up...  And the groom doesn't take as long because your pet is the ONLY one being worked on at a time. So instead of taking 3 hours or more for the groom, most will take an hour or less, depending on the size of the pet and type of groom of course!

3. You will ALWAYS have the same groomer, making it easier on your pet because it is only ONE "stranger" that they need to get used to, instead of ending up with a different groomer every time like many other land-based, high-volume, salons.  This is another way we reduce stress on your pet.

4. If your schedule is crazy and you are unable to be home for a groom, arrangements can be made where you don't have to be there!

Reasons to use Paradise Paws:

1. I use only high-quality, natural, biodegradable, non-toxic products.

2. Linda Kepner, the owner/groomer, has over 14 years of grooming experience and has been handling animals for over 30 years. I started with 4-H dog and horse projects when I was 8!

3. Nail grinding is included in EVERY dog groom!  This gets the nails shorter, smoother and more rounded, and there is much less likelihood of "quicking" a nail, which can  be very painful and messy.

4. An appropriate shampoo for your pet is always included in your groom price. No extra charge for degreasers, hypoallergenic, oatmeal, or medicated shampoos.  However, conditioners and de-shedding treatment shampoos/conditioners are extra due to the extra time they take to do.

5. I keep abreast of the latest trends, learn about and use the best tools and products, compete in grooming competitions, attend seminars and trade shows, and continue my education.  Grooming is a passion! I never quit learning new things.  I am a member of the National Cat Groomer's Institute of America, the ORIGINAL Cat groomer's association.
